In this workshop, you will learn the art of blue pottery and create your own unique piece of pottery. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced potter, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore the fascinating world of blue pottery.

Our Program

We offer a variety of workshops to cater to different preferences and skill levels. Come join us in this magical experience of creating and painting your own blue pottery masterpiece. Our workshops are available on a regular basis, and we also offer private workshops for groups and special occasions. We look forward to seeing you in our Blue Pottery Workshop!

 

OPTION 1

Book A Visit

INR 1000 per pax


Time Required for the Visit: 1 to 2 hours 

 

Meeting Point is Neerja International Inc. from where the visitors will be guided to the workshop. On arrival, they will be shown 2 short videos to start off the course (20 minutes). The visitors will be given a guided tour to the Sampling Unit wherein they will have a visual experience of seeing and understanding the intricate process of Blue Pottery making.

The visitors will be able to see the whole life cycle of creation from moulding, englobing, sketching, painting, glazing and finally kept ready for baking in the kiln and get a true feel of the efforts put in by the potters while creating such beautiful masterpieces.(20 minutes).

 

Visit to the Neerja Blue Pottery Museum & Showroom where one can see the finished products and also shop around for a memento for cherished memories. (depends on the time you would like to spend here – from 15 to 30 minutes). The tour culminates.

Book A Visit + Workshop

Workshop Details

Hands On

The visitors will try their hands on the moulding process of blue pottery with the dough under the expert guidance of the potters as well as feel the ecstasy of creating something from the potters wheel.They can create their designs on a set of either 2 tiles or 2 coasters during the Workshop.

The Coasters or Tiles (set of 2) that they design and paint themselves will be glazed and baked in the kiln and couriered to their place of destination.The Workshop culminates.

Thereafter the visitors can visit the Neerja Blue Pottery Museum & Showroom where they can see the finished products and also shop around for a memento for cherished memories. (depends on the time they would like to spend there – from 15 to 30 minutes).


 

OPTION 3

Tete-a-Tete with Dr. Leela Bordia (Founder of Neerja International Inc)

INR 2000 per person, minimum 5 pax.


A tea-time conversation with Ma'am Leela Bordia would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with a true master of blue pottery, and to learn from her knowledge, experience, and passion.


 

OPTION 4

MAKE YOUR OWN BLUE POTTERY PIECE

INR 5000 per product


Make your own blue pottery piece, a blue pottery piece might be a vase, bowl or a plate.
